We're often govern by what the world says or thinks of us, and with that there are ample of things we disallow ourselves.
However, it is not about what others say, so much so as it's about what you say.
Here are 7 things which are completely normal to do, feel and think.
Check them out and don't be so hard on yourself.
1. Needing space
Whether it's from friends, family, or significant others, when you need alone time, you just do. You shouldn't have to explain yourself for that.
2. Triggered from healed wounds
Healing isn't something which happens overnight, and sometimes we find ourselves being affected by things we thought we already healed from. It's okay, one step forward two steps back, is still a step forward.
3. Getting attached/wanting others
As vulnerable as this sounds or feels, it is completely normal to feel affected by a person. It's called being human.
4. Being flexible with your boundaries
We're often criticized when we bend our boundaries for certain people. This is fine and not something to be ashamed about. We move with emotion and we're not robots.
5. Talking to someone professional
Having a person to tell your worries to, so that you can feel better is a good thing. Even if this person isn't just one person or the same person.
6. Outgrowing things
It can be friendships, relationships, places, situations, whatever it is, we grow and we change. There is no harm in wanting new things, different things, things we maybe never wanted before.
7. Not being happy always
Happiness is just like sadness. It comes, and it goes. No emotion stays forever. It's fine if you need to take time before you're happy, or even just not be happy period.
We've been given the freedom to live life whichever way we see fit, and honestly, if you're ethical, safe and respectful, no one else should have a say.
