R. J. Nagarajan, the Malaysian who climbed all seven highest peaks in seven continents of the world, will have his right fingers amputated after suffering from frostbite. The 59-year-old, who scaled Mount Everest on May 22, took to TikTok to give un update about his condition.

He said after after two months of observation and treatment, he will have to undergo surgery on his fingers at the Canselor Tuanku Muhriz Hospital. "After two months of analysing, I think the doctors finally decided that the fingers have to be amputated.
"It's a very tough decision and it's also a big moment for me when the last couple of months, I went through stages of frustration, anxiety and a bit of depression," said Nagarajan in the 64-second video.
The comment section of the post was flooded with netizens conveying their concern and sympathy for the climber. All of them offered words of encouragement.

Nagarajan is the second Malaysian to climb all seven highest peaks in seven continents of the world. He has motivated Malaysians everywhere to strive for their dreams and aim for success. Despite his impending procedure, Nagarajan, in his Tiktok video caption, said he is looking forward to many more adventures.
