Authorities are searching for a 12-year-old girl, Madrafataha Indal Bangsawan, who was reported missing after being sent to retrieve food from a car parked near her family's flat in Bandar Bukit Tinggi 1, Klang. The incident occurred yesterday afternoon (9 October) at Lorong Batu Nilam 1B.
According to a police statement from South Klang District Police Chief ACP Cha Hoong Fong, the girl's mother had asked her to collect food from their parked car around 2:20 pm. The child went down to the parking lot alone but never returned. Concerned when Madrafataha did not come back, her mother began searching the parking area at around 3:00 pm but was unable to find her daughter.
After hours of unsuccessful searching, the mother lodged a police report at 8:59 pm.
The South Klang Criminal Investigation Department has since opened an investigation into Madrafatahas disappearance. Police are urging anyone who may have seen the girl or has information on her whereabouts to contact the South Klang District Police Headquarters at 03-33762222 or report to the nearest police station.
As the search continues, authorities are asking the public to remain vigilant and come forward with any details that could aid in locating the missing child.
