On the 19th of March, Thursday, China reported no new domestic cases of COVID-19 for the first time since the outbreak began. All of the 34 new cases reported on Thursday involved people from other countries.
According to Sinchew, Director General of the World Health Organization(WHO), Tedros Adhanom stated that WHO has received over reports 210K confirmed Coronavirus cases, 9K deaths and the tracking of the new number of cases are making people worried about this tough situation. But until today, we are glad to know that at least China has no new local cases of Coronavirus and we see hope in the country’s fight against the pandemic.
He also mentioned that the good news from China is that no new confirmed COVID-19 cases were reported in Wuhan on the 19th of March.
He also mentioned that although we need to be cautious and the unpredictable situation may be repeated, the first report of no new confirmed cases in Wuhan has made a twist in this tough situation and bring hope to the rest of the world.
According to the latest statistics reported today morning, Wuhan has had no new confirmed cases for 3 consecutive days.
