According to the Ministry of Health of Saudi Arabia, there were more than 3,000 new cases for the two consecutive days after relaxing the lockdown measures at the end of May. There were 3,045 new cases on June 7, including 717 in the capital Riyadh, 623 in Mecca, and 351 in Jeddah. So far, the number of confirmed cases of COVID-19 in Saudi Arabia exceeded 100,000 and there have 712 death cases.

On June 5, the Ministry of Interior of Saudi Arabia announced that part of the curfew measures will be resumed from June 6 to June 20 at Jeddah. The curfew will be from 3 pm to 6 am the next day. Besides, all church prayers, dining in restaurants and cafes would be suspended.
On the other hand, the Ministry of Interior of Saudi Arabia also stated that curfew measures will be resumed at Riyadh if its confirmed cases continue to increase. The Saudi government has also announced that it will continue to suspend the issuance of pilgrimage visas to curb the spread of the coronavirus.
