The director of the Johor Health Bureau confirmed that a well-known meat Bak Kut Teh restaurant in Kota Tinggi was instructed to suspend its business on June 14 because the crowd of the diners failed to observe the social distance and violated the standard operating procedures (SOP) of the recovery movement control order (RMCO).
"The restaurant in question did not ensure that customers respected social distance, violating section 18(1)(f) of the Infectious Disease Prevention and Control Act 1988," he said.
