The Bantuan Prihatin Nasional is one of the programs launched by the government in the economic revitalization package. It mainly distributes financial aid to B40, low-income groups, and M40, middle-income groups, to help people who are affected financially by the COVID-19 outbreak.
Recipients of Bantuan Sara Hidup and eligible taxpayers will automatically receive Bantuan Prihatin Nasional, and no further registration information is required to apply.
Malaysians can check whether they are eligible to receive the benefit through LHDNM official website (hasil.gov.my) from April 1 onwards.
Follow these steps to check:
1. Visit http://www.hasil.gov.my/
2. Click on “BANTUAN SARA HIDUP & BANTUAN PRIHATIN NASIONAL”
3. Click on “Bantuan Prihatin Nasional” (will be open on April 1)
(C) Non-married with monthly income less than RM2000: RM800
Fund distribution in May: RM300
(D) Non-married with a monthly income RM2001-RM4000: RM500
Fund distribution in April: RM250
