It's a little over a month to Christmas and if you're anything like me, you've already started blasting Christmas music (Michael Bublé anyone?) to annoy your friends and family! Yes, it might have been a long and hard year, and Christmas plans just very well might be cancelled this year, but nothing will stop us from having the spirit of Christmas in us come the 25th of December! That said, here are 3 Christmas movies on Netflix to get you in the mood:
Holidate
One of the things we all dread during the holidays is running into our relatives and having them pop the sacred question, "Eh, where's your boyfriend/girlfriend?" or "Boy/Girl ah, got girlfriend/boyfriend already or not?" or somewhere along those lines. Well, turns out Sloane (Emma Roberts) and Jackson (Luke Bracey) have the same problems too. So much so that they agreed to be each other's date for all holiday festivities.
The pact was just to get everyone off their backs, so no romance. How did that turn out? Exactly as you would expect! They started bonding over their hatred of the holiday seasons and turns out hate does turn to love sometimes.
Fancy finding a holidate for the next holiday to keep your aunties and uncles quiet? You can watch "Holidate" here!
Operation Christmas Drop
Congressional assistant Erica (Kat Graham) was sent to a US Air Force base in Guam to investigate and try to shut it down. Captain Andrew (Alexander Ludwig) tries to convince her it should remain open. They butt heads since the beginning. But, as the captain started showing Erica around the Air Force base and explaining to her that they parachute gifts to nearby islands, things started to change for Erica.
Turns out, gifts aren't the only thing that were in the air as love started to bloom when Erica was taken to the islands by Andrew and she sees the impact of the tradition with her own eyes.
Who doesn't like to be Santa Claus? And just so you know, it is based on a real US Air Force tradition! You can catch "Operation Christmas Drop" here!
The Princess Switch: Switched Again
Vanessa Hudgens is great, but two of her is just heavenly! If you haven't watched the first movie of this series, what are you waiting for? In this long-awaited sequel, Stacy (Vanessa Hudgens) attends Duchess Margaret's (Vanessa Hudgens) Christmas coronation while they try to solve each other's relationship and royal problems.
What could go wrong? Well, did I mentioned there is a THIRD Vanessa Hudgens playing as Fiona - Margaret's "evil" cousin?! Turns out, she has some criminal plans up her mind and Stacy and Margaret's princess switch might just switch things up!
Can't get enough of Vanessa Hudgens? You can start watching "The Princess Switch: Switched Again" here!
