A Facebook user by the name of Mohd Faizul Rizam, shared how he was driving when suddenly the Indonesian maid ran onto the road weeping and begging for help. He stopped his vehicle and let her in. With a heavy heart, the young woman shared her story of desperation. Leaving behind her little children and an older brother with disabilities back in her village, she embarked on this challenging journey to support her family financially. Her husband, too, had the responsibility of caring for the children while she ventured to a foreign land to earn a living.

In the video she shared begged the man to help her as she wanted to go back to Indonesia but her passport and handphone were confiscated by her employer. She said that she was not given food for 2 days, only given bread and she shared how if she sat down she would be called lazy.
