The saying 'losing a pet is like losing a family member' hit home for popular TikTok user @at_bie, known for having a pet guinea pig called Kalbar.

Previously, @at_bie, whose real name is Fatin Farhana Ismail, always shared tips on how to care for guinea pigs, gaining her a huge following on the social media platform.
She has also uploaded videos of herself interacting with Kalbar and other guinea pigs that she owns. The one that caught the most attention was a video she uploaded last year on Oct 26, where both Fatin and Kalbar were in unison looking at the window, after they heard the sound of firecrackers.
However, during a live session on the platform yesterday morning (Wed/Aug16), Fatin who was holding Kalbar on her shoulder suddenly found the guinea pig motionless. After she found out that Kalbar was gone, Fatin was lost for words and cried in silence.
@at_bie Kalbar , walaupun ramai cakap kita muka sama mak tak terasa hati pun malah mak bangga Kalbar , sepatutnya kita pergi jb 5 hari ni sama sama untuk jumpa fans kalbar dekat pet expo tapi tidak kesampaian. Earlier, while holding Kalbar, Fatin shared that her pet guinea pig was unwell and that she had already brought it to the vet many times to get treatment. Unfortunately, the odds were slim for Kalbar.
