In the latest updates, the trainers are able to identified the ex-gym easily

the trainers are required to DEFEAT the raid boss spawn in the ex-gym
To increase the chances of obtaining the ex-raid pass
the trainers can upgrade the batch of the gym
through put your pokemon in the gym
3) Invitation of friend to ex-raid
After Mewtwo, the next Ex-raid boss
will be
the legendary pokemon,Deoxys
A very good news to the trainers is that
the trainers that obtain a ex-raid pass are now able to
invite a friend to fight the ex-raid boss
This means they share the ex-raid pass,and not give the ex-raid pass
However
Only Ultra Friend and Best Friend can be invited
