Kuala Lumpur: Police are tracking down the people involved in a fight at a restaurant in Jalan Genting Klang, Setapak, yesterday.
Wangsa Maju District Deputy Chief of Police, Deputy Superintendent D Saralathan said, his department received a police report from the public who were at the scene regarding the incident.
He said the 7-second video of the fight uploaded by Twitter account owner NanManjoi8715 went viral all over the internet today.
"In this regard, an investigation was conducted by a team of policemen from the Criminal Investigation Division of the Wangsa Maju District Police Headquarters and the investigation was conducted in accordance with Section 147 of the Penal Code (KK).
“Investigations and efforts to trace the parties involved are still underway.
"People are advised not to speculate and spread the video as it could cause public annoyance," he said.
