No need to go to Genting for a change in weather!
Experts predict that the nation will experience this cold weather until February 2023.
Dr. Mohd Hisham Mohd Anip, deputy director-general (strategic and technical), Malaysian Meteorological Department (MetMalaysia), stated that the cold weather phenomenon following the Northeast monsoon included a change in cold winds sweeping in from mainland China as well as continuous rain clouds starting in early November.
According to Universiti Malaya meteorologist Professor Datuk Dr Azizan Abu Samah, the winds that traveled out of China and entered Malaysia in early November are predicted to stop in February of the next year and might result in temperatures as low as 22 degrees Celsius.
