McDonald has opened it's first barber shop in Stockholm, Sweden, and it's offering one and only one, classic men's hairstyle from the '90s. The booking went full in just seconds after it first open up for reservation.
The iconic haircut that was once wore but countless male celebrities in the 90s, such as David Beckham and Leonardo DiCarpio, has gotten itself a new name - "The Golden M" and is making a huge comeback. And I guessed you can pretty much understand how it got it's name, just basing on the hair look from the front and the signature "M" logo.
According to the marketing director at McDonald's Sweden, Staffan Ekstam, the move to open the barber shop and the hairstyle after they realised that people were wearing the McD's Golden Arches.
"We started the M Barber Shop not only to guard our Golden M, but also to claim it once and for all. The salon is a celebration dedicated to our beloved ambassadors — a helping hand to guide them on how to keep their M’s in perfect trim, even when we can’t move around as freely as we usually can." He added.
It is truly an impressive marketing stunt from McDonald. But...will you accept the haircut itself? Hmmmm....
