Want Smaller Waist Lines? Do This Instead Of Abs Exercises

26-Aug-2021

If you‘re recently getting into fitness, you might be thinking, "I want a smaller waist so I should probably focus on doing more abs exercises."

Well, wrong. Technically, doing abs exercises will no doubt strengthen your core, but that practice alone won‘t contribute much to the shaping of your waist. These are the exercises you should do instead:

• Shoulder workout, examples:

• Side glutes workout, examples:

The logic: Focusing on building muscles around your shoulder and side glutes will, in turn, give you the illusion of a smaller waist. Contrary to popular belief, overdoing your abs exercise will less likely to shed inches off your waist— instead, your torse will probably look more solid and square-ish— which, of course, is not a bad thing unless that isn't your goal.

To make it short: To have the illusion of a curvy figure, don't forget your shoulder and side butt. However, if you're solely doing these exercises without practising calorie deficit, results are less likely to occur.

So, remember this formula when it comes to shaping your waist: shoulder + side glutes + CALORIE DEFICIT and you're good to go. Good luck!
