If you're planning to splurge on a pair of new AirPods this year, you might want to wait just a little longer.
Reputable Apple analyst Ming-Chi Kuo recently revealed that the giant tech corporation is purportedly working to deliver inexpensive AirPods in the next year or two. According to him, the next-generation AirPods could sport a price tag of $99 or RM469 and will likely be released in 2024 or later.

The next-generation AirPods will likely begin mass shipments in 2H24 or 1H25, including more affordable AirPods (with Apple targeting a price of $99) and new AirPods Max, which will be assembled by Luxshare ICT and Hon Teng.
The cheapest AirPods on the market now are projected to cost you at least RM 629, and regrettably, they lack active noise cancellation, which you would expect in any well constructed earbuds.
Will the new AirPods project the same let-down? We shall see.
