Shuttler Ng Tze Yong toppled world and Olympic champion Viktor Axelsen on Thursday to advance to the quarterfinals of the All England, pulling off the greatest comeback in the tournament to date.
28th in the world, Tze Yong, who was competing in the prestigious tournament for the very first time, fought valiantly and triumphed sensationally in the men's singles second round match by scores of 21-15, 9-21, and 23-21.
"This is the biggest win of my career," said Tze Yong. However, his next relentless focus will now be his next match, he continued, not willing to be distracted by his win just yet.
Let's hope he'll triumph in his next match as well. Well done, Ng Tze Yong!
