Karaage or Japanese friend chicken, is one of the most classic dishes you can find it any Japanese home. It’s also a popular dish to be featured in Japanese bento. Now let’s learn how to make it and you will never want to eat any takeaway chicken anymore~
Ingredients:
Chicken thigh - 4
Egg - 1
Minced garlic - 2 cloves
Bruised ginger - 1/2 a piece
Soy sauce - 2 spoons
Cooking wine - 2 spoons
Salt - 1/3 spoon
Flour - 3 spoons

Directions:
1. Remove bones from the chicken thighs and chop it smaller. Season for 30 minutes with egg, garlic, ginger, soy sauce, cooking wine, and salt.
2. Add flour to the seasoned chicken, make sure it’s in equal amount.
3. Pour cooking oil to pan and heat it up, when the oil is 50% heated, and it bubbles when tested with a chopstick, add the chicken. Fry over low-medium heat until golden brown.
4. When the oil cools down, heat it up again to 80% of heat. Fry the chicken again over medium heat until the color turns light brown.
5. Remove from pan and get rid of excess oil.
