Every woman has different conditions during her menstruation. And, the colour of women's menstrual blood has different meanings!
#1 Light Pink Or Orange
According to Margarent Romero, a practising physician in functional medicine in New York, the bright pink colour of menstrual blood indicates a low level of estrogen in the body. Studies have shown that excessive exercise is likely to cause low estrogen secretion. Although this is not a big problem, low estrogen levels can increase the risk of osteoporosis. It is recommended that women who have frequent vigorous exercise habits can reduce the frequency of exercise or do not exercise too vigorously, and supplement the nutrients they need to improve their physical fitness.
#2 Yellow Or Clear
If your menstrual blood has such colour, it means that your body is suffering from malnutrition. Alyssa Dweck, an assistant professor at Mount Sinai College in New York, said that this is likely to show that you have symptoms of severe anaemia in your body. If you find that you are often dizzy, it is recommended to see a doctor for examination. It is recommended to eat more foods with higher iron content, such as eggs, soybeans, spinach, etc., to avoid the yellow or clear colour in menstrual blood.
#3 Brownish
There is no need to panic because it is very normal that the menstrual blood is brownish when it comes to the end of menstruation because the body is dissolving dirt. The menstrual blood flow slows down and oxidizes when it comes into contact with the air, so it appears brownish. If the condition persists for too long, it is still recommended to see a doctor for an examination.
#4 Maroon
It is normal that blood clots appear during menstruation. If the amount of blood clots exceeds 1/4 of menstrual blood, then you must be careful because it is likely because of excessive estrogen secretion which may cause severe hormonal imbalance. It is recommended that you eat fewer dairy products, legumes, and sugars. If blood clot still occurs, then you are likely suffering from uterine fibroids (noncancerous growths of the uterus).
#5 Bright Red With Thick Texture
If your menstrual blood often appears dark red and grey with a burst of foul smell, it is recommended that you quickly seek a doctor, because this colour of menstrual blood is likely to be a vaginal infection. It is recommended that you also maintain a happy mood and exercise moderately.
#6 Bright And Cranberry Red
If your menstrual blood is always bright red, it means that your menstrual blood is healthy and regular.
