The ever increasing catalogue of Korean dramas (K-drama) on Netflix is honestly a blessing and a curse. On one hand, we will probably never run out of content to watch; but on the other hand, if you only watch one or two episodes a day, you never seem to catch up and your want-to-watch list just keeps getting longer and longer.
However, if there's one thing we've learned from all those years of watching Winter Sonata, to Descendants of the Sun, to Start-Up, to Sisyphus: The Myth, it's one of our favorite foreign languages - Korean.
If you listen to Korean songs, you might be able to sing a few lines without knowing the meaning, but if you watch enough Korean shows or drama, and you're bound to pick up some words! Recently, TikTok user nmarie_kth (@naina.marie) made a hilarious video as a response to the question "You sound like you learn Korean from K-dramas".
In the video, she acts angry and starts giving her response. The funny part is, her replies are the usual terms we hear from almost all Korean dramas. Here's the video:
Some netizens even commented "This is how I'm going to speak from now on" and "Me after watching 1 episode of Korean drama".
I don't know about you, but this is exactly the amount of Korean that I can speak after years of watching Korean dramas and variety shows. Are you like this too? Tag and share this with your friends who also only know these words!
