Streaming LIVE and still on going - This last minute Living Room concert is definitely taking over the YouTube world.
Hosted by Elton John, and joined by many other singers and celebrities, are streaming live from their living room to bring the world a concert. The concert was meant to spread love and raise fund for the fight of Covid-19.
This on-loop 1-hour long LIVE concert is jam packed with amazing programmes. Some highlights are as follows :-
Started off with Alicia Keys, singing her single "Underdog" and then we have Backstreet Boys, singing in harmony from each's house, with their signature "I want it that way".
The hit artist Billie Eilish made her appearance, together with her brother, Finneas, singing an unplugged version of "Bad Guy." On a side note, yesterday (29th March 2020) was the 1 year anniversary of her debut album "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" Then, we have the two love birds, Camila Cabelo and Shawn Mendes, singing "My Oh My", with Shawn on the guitar and Camila singing.
One of the highlights of the Living Room Concert, is definitely the piano-accompanied version of John Lennon's "Imagine", sang by a doctor from the famous Mayo Clinic in Ronchester, Minnesota, Dr. Elvis Francois, and his colleague playing the piano. Two words are all we can say : "Beautifully Touching."
Sam Smith presented A Capella version of "How do you sleep tonight?", while Demi Lovato sang "Skyscraper".
Last one up was the forever fabulous, Mariah Carey, belting out "Always Be My Baby." Before the concert ends, the host, Elton, wrapped the thing up with him singing "Better days lie ahead."
Also, we are seeing the appearance of many other celebrities, such as Ellen DeGeneres, Lizzo, Malissa McCarthy, Ryan Seacrest, etc.
This is a though time to all of us, and quoting Lizzo's word : "We cannot let this tear us apart...We can't let the fear spread faster than the virus, we have to let love spread."
It is important to all of us, especially during this hour, to spread love and care to everyone around us and ourselves.
