As we entered the second phase of the Conditional Movement Control Order (CMCO), many businesses are allowed to resume businesses under strict Standard Operation Procedures (SOP). In order to reduce the risk of infection or contact with other people, many workers have chosen to prepare own meal to work, instead of eating outside. So here's a simple bento recipe that y'all could try!
Here're the ingredients you need:
-For the bento-
1. 2 chicken drumsticks
2. Broccoli
3. Carrot
4. Rice
- To marinate the chicken drumsticks-
1. 2 spoons of cooking alcohol
2. 1 spoon of soy sauce
3. Ginger slices
4. White pepper
5. 1 teaspoon of salt
-Teriyaki sauce-
1. 2 spoons of cooking alcohol
2. 1 spoon of soy sauce
3. 1 spoon of dark soy sauce
4. 1 spoon of oyster sauce
5. 1 spoon of honey
Steps:
1. Marinate the chicken drumsticks for 20 minutes.
2. Spread cooking oil on a cooking pan.
3. Fry the chicken drumsticks until it is cooked.
4. Boiled the broccoli and carrot while waiting for the chicken.
5. Mix all the ingredients for the teriyaki sauce.
6. Pour the sauce into the cooking pan after the chicken is cooked.
7. Cover the pan and cook for another 5 minutes with low heat.
7. Take the chicken out after it is done and cut it into small pieces.
8. Place the rice, veggies, and chicken into your bento and pour the sauce in.
9. Spread some white sesame on the chicken (if you have any).
10. Enjoy!
