Are you craving for a fluffy soufflé? Here’s a simple recipe for you to make it. You will only need 5 basic ingredients which you could buy from normal groceries. Let’s make this delicious dessert in a short time. It could be served during tea time or as a supper~
Ingredients:
Egg - 2
Milk - 16ml
Low Protein Flour - 28g
Baking powder - 2g
Sugar - 20g
Steps:
1. Separate egg whites and egg yolks into two different bowls.
*Make sure there is no water and oil in both bowls.
2. Mix the egg yolks and 16g milk. Whisk them. In the meantime, sift 28g flour and 2g baking powder into the bowl.
3. Add sugar into the bowl of egg whites. Continue to whip them..
*Do not add in 20g of sugar at one time. You are highly encouraged to separate it into 3 times.
4. Combine both egg white and egg yolk mixture. Whisk together.
5. Preheat a nonstick frying pan. You may start preheating the pan before combining both mixtures.
*Remember to put the pan over lowest heat.
6. Use a small ladle and take 1 scoop of batter. Put it on the pan. The number of scoops on the pan will depend on the size of your pan.
* Do not put it in the middle of the pan to prevent overheating.
7. Cover the pan with a lid for 3 minutes.
8. Use a spatula and lift the soufflé gently. Reverse it. Cover the lid again for 3 minutes.
9. Once the soufflés are nicely browned, transfer them to your serving plates.
10. Dust the pancake with confectioners’ sugar or any toppings you like. You may serve it with your favorite syrup too.
