A video has been making rounds on social media showing a Mat Saleh TikTok users reaction upon googling the term pocong. The video, which has since gone viral, has sparked entertaining reaction from users online.
In the video, the TikTok user is seen typing pocong into the Google search bar before scrolling through the search results. Upon discovering what a pocong is, the user appears to be visibly shocked and terrified, covering his face and screaming out loud.
For those who may not be familiar with the term, pocong is a traditional Indonesian and Malaysian ghost that is said to be the spirit of a deceased person who has been wrapped in a white shroud. The ghost is believed to be trapped in its burial shroud, with its arms and legs bound, and is said to haunt graveyards and other areas associated with death.
Many Malaysians are familiar with the spine-chilling horror that a pocong can induce. Its amusing to realize that people from different parts of the world can relate to this terror and find it equally terrifying.
