ICYMI: WATCH: Netizens Give Helping Hand To Move Perodua Axia Blocking RapidKL Bus Route

A bus operator transporting fans to concerts recently revealed that he made around RM25,000 to RM30,000 in sales for the recent Taylor Swift's Eras Tour concert in Singapore. The video, which went viral, is part of a BFM Radio's Bu$y Finding Modal episode, showcasing how entrepreneurs conduct their business. In its eighth episode, the feature was on Amirul Sufi, who not only transports fans to concerts in Singapore but also to any events held there and in Malaysia.

Amirul said that he started his business with RM10,000 and all profits are reinvested into the business. He then shared that the revenue from the recent concert was around RM25,000 to RM30,000 daily, while noting that it all depends on demand from customers.

"If the demand is huge, then we add more buses to transport fans," he said, while adding that the revenue margin increases as well. On making a profit, he said if the revenue is around RM30,000 per day, then he makes around RM5,000 to RM6,000 daily. On expenses incurred during the Eras Tour, Amirul said he rented each bus at RM4,000 and spent around RM12,000.

"It requires a big business model, so we need to invest big, for example, filling a bus tank costs me RM900 per bus, so if I rent several buses, the cost increases," he said.

He added that other costs need to be considered, such as maintenance and drivers' wages. The entrepreneur added that in terms of value, his customers receive top service, while stating that without it, he can't attract them. He also entertains questions from customers regarding immigration processes and some queries such as where to eat and so on. Amirul also reminded customers to be aware of scammers, citing that it's a major problem for businesses.

"Scammer tickets, hotels, and even transports, they all exist," he said. He goes on to share that such concerts help in terms of economics, not only for him but also for other businesses, even though it was held in Singapore.

The video, shared on X (formerly Twitter), has so far amassed 1.7 million views. Netizens were quick to praise Amirul for his business acumen.

Wilson YIMBY commented: "Great, adik (brother)."

One of Amirul's customers, Sarah Rahim said: "I am one of his customers seriously he is good and will guide customers from A - Z."

Another user, Ajez, said he respected this kind of entrepreneur. "I have respect for people like him, who saw an opportunity and grabbed it."

As for Orked, she said: "Imagine if the concert was held in Kuala Lumpur... it would boost Amirul's income massively."
