To promote the use of online payments of traffic tickets (saman), The Royal Malaysia Police (PDRM) is giving away a 50% discount for traffic summons from 25-29 March 2020. To get the discount, the payment needs to be done online through MyEG or rilek.com.my.

First-time users need to register online through any of the websites mentioned in order to proceed with payment.

Despite the eye-catching discount given, there are a few exceptions.
The 6 types of traffic tickets below are NOT eligible for any discount.
1. Saman Kemalangan (Accident Ticket)
2. Saman Berstatus NC (NC Status Tickets)
3. Saman Berstatus Waran Tahun Semasa (Arrest Warrant Ticket)
4. Saman Dalam Perbicaraan (Ticket in Trial)
5. Saman Ops Selamat Tahun Semasa (Ticket received during Security Operations)
6. Saman Berstatus Mahkamah & Saman Berkaitan Lori (Court and Lory Related Ticket)
