The Malaysian Prime Minister has just announced on the extension of the Movement Control Order until April 28, 2020. Although the extension of MCO is implemented, the government has also agreed to allow a few economic sectors to gradually resume operation during this third phase of MCO.

According to Sin Chew Daily, the PM mentioned that list of the allowed sectors will be released by the Special Cabinet Committee, led by the International Trade and Industry, Minister Datuk Seri Azmin Ali, and Defence Minister, Datuk Seri Ismail Sabri Yaakob.
The PM too disclosed that this list will be released soon, the relevant sectors must comply with the authorities' guidelines. Also, the PM stressed that, although these sectors are allowed to resume operation during MCO, it does not imply that they can violate the MCO. If they violated the MCO, the government will withdraw the approval of their operations.
