In a now-deleted Facebook post, a former lecturer from Malaysia revealed a remarkable financial turnaround by working as a cleaner in Singapore. The anonymous individual, who used to earn RM1,900 as a lecturer, shared that they now make RM11,000 monthly as a cleaner in Singapore.

The former lecturer, who had previously worked at a private higher education institution (IPTS) in Malaysia for five years, expressed financial struggles due to the increasing cost of living and a stagnant salary. The rising prices of goods left them short of funds before the month's end, prompting the search for alternative employment.
