Authorities are investigating allegations of a female teacher engaging in a relationship with a 17-year-old male student, following a report filed by the teenager's family.
Senior Assistant Commissioner Siti Kamsiah Hassan, Deputy Director of the Women and Children Sexual Investigation Division (D11) of Bukit Aman, confirmed that the police received the report last December and are currently conducting further investigations.
"All parties involved have been summoned to provide statements, including the teenager and the teacher in question," she stated when contacted today.
She added, "The police are finalizing the investigation papers and will soon refer them to the Deputy Public Prosecutor's Office."
Meanwhile, Assistant Commissioner Wan Kamarul Azran Wan Yusof, Chief of Police of Sepang District, stated that the investigation is being conducted under Section 14 of the Sexual Offenses Against Children Act 2017.
"The investigation is still ongoing, with the investigation papers being sent to Bukit Aman before being directed to proceed," he explained.
Earlier, an individual claiming to be the victim's sibling took to social media to express their sentiments regarding the case.
In their post on the X app, they revealed that their mother had filed a police report and a separate report to the District Education Office.
Despite the teacher being transferred to another school, they alleged that the teacher and their sibling were still in contact and had secretly met at the beach.
However, the post was later taken down after it went viral.

Meanwhile, when contacted, the mother of the teenager stated that the Ministry of Education Malaysia (KPM) had reached out to arrange a meeting following the incident going viral.
"The incident happened a while ago, and I thought the teacher had realized her mistake, but I never expected her to still be in contact with my child.
"After this incident became viral, the ministry contacted me to arrange a meeting, and God willing, I will disclose the true facts of what happened," she remarked.
