A routine morning jog turned into a nightmare for a resident of Section 27 in Shah Alam when he was attacked and robbed by an unknown assailant during his routine morning walk at 6 AM. The incident, shared by user @ZaraaZameen on the X platform, has raised concerns about the safety of individuals engaging in early morning activities.
Accompanied by disturbing images of the injured victim, the user also posted screenshots of a WhatsApp group conversation, providing details that shed light on the terrifying event. The victim, identified as a Malay man in his 40s, suffered severe injuries during the incident, particularly to his hand.
The attack occurred in front of Sekolah Kebangsaan Seksyen 27, close to the residential area of Laman Seri. The assault took place between 6 AM and 6:30 AM, a time when the surroundings are still dark and there is minimal vehicular traffic.

The user suggested that the assailant may have chosen this early hour because of the low visibility and the proximity to the residential area, where fewer people are on the streets at the time. The post urged caution for those who exercise alone, emphasizing that the victim might have been safer if he had jogged a bit later when more people would be out and about.
As of now, there is no additional information regarding the extent of the victim's injuries or any losses incurred. It remains unclear whether there have been any follow-up actions taken in response to the incident.
