Eating salad is very good and healthy, however, you may be making it worse when you add the bottled dressings as these dressings often high in fat, calories, sodium, and sugar that makes your salad no longer "clean".
Instead of bottled dressing, you can always replace it with greek yogurt, it is way healthier, at the same time taste so good! Follow the 5 recipes below and try to make one for your salad.
1. Creamy Lemon Yogurt Salad Dressing
You can use it for salad/coleslaw, basically an all-purpose dressing~
Ingredients:-
1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
1/4 cup extra virgin olive oil
2 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
1 tsp garlic, minced
1 1/2 tsp sugar
1/4 tsp black pepper
1/2 tsp salt
Steps:
1. Mix ingredients in a bowl.
2. Set aside for 30 minutes+ to allow flavors to develop.
* You can add some milk to adjust to desired consistency. *
2. Yogurt Ranch Dressing
Ingredients:
1 cup plain greek yogurt
2 tbsp olive oil
1 small garlic clove, minced
1/4 tsp EACH dried dill, parsley, chives, garlic powder, black pepper
1/2 tsp EACH onion powder, mustard powder
1/2 tsp salt
2 tsp white sugar
1 1/2 tbsp lemon juice
Steps:
1. Mix ingredients in a bowl.
2. Set aside for 30 minutes+ to allow flavors to develop.
* You can add some milk to adjust to desired consistency. *
3. Yogurt Potato Salad Dressing
Ingredients:
1 cup plain greek yogurt
3 tbsp olive oil
2 tbsp milk
2 tbsp wholegrain mustard
1 tbsp dijon mustard
1 tbsp vinegar
2 tsp white sugar
1/4 cup fresh chives, finely chopped
1/2 tsp garlic powder, onion powder
Steps:
1. Mix ingredients in a bowl.
2. Set aside for 30 minutes+ to allow flavors to develop.

4. Oil-free Honey Mustard Dressing
The oil is switched for yogurt for a healthier version of the honey mustard dressing, it's just as creamy and lower calories compare to the classic one.
Ingredients:
1/2 cup plain greek yogurt
2 tbsp Dijon mustard
2 tbsp honey
1 1/2 tbsp cider vinegar
1/4 tsp EACH garlic powder, salt, and pepper
Steps:
1. Mix ingredients in a bowl.
2. Set aside for 30 minutes+ to allow flavors to develop.
* You can add some milk to adjust to desired consistency. *
5. Yogurt Caesar Salad Dressing
Replaced the mayo with yogurt with fewer calories and less fat, and you will be surprised by the taste!
Ingredients:
1 cup plain yogurt, preferably Greek
1/2 garlic clove, minced
2 anchovy fillets or 3/4 tsp Anchovy paste *Substitution: 1 tsp of fish sauce*
1 tbsp fresh lemon juice
1 tsp Dijon mustard
1 tsp Worcestershire sauce
1 tsp white sugar
2 tbsp olive oil
1/2 cup freshly grated parmesan cheese
2 - 4 tbsp milk (adjust consistency)
1/2 tsp salt
Black pepper
Steps:
1. Combine all ingredients and mix them with a food processor until smooth.
2. Add milk to adjust consistency.

These dressings can be kept for 3 days in the fridge, remember to take them out 30 minutes prior before using them.
