Chocolate is loved by many people. Chocolate can help you feel better and eliminate a bad mood. However, many people are afraid that they will get fat after eating chocolate. In fact, some studies have shown that eating chocolate at a specific time will bring more benefits without inducing weight gain. Let's check it out!
The subjects of this were 19 menopausal women with an average age of 52. They are divided into three groups, in which the women in the first group eat chocolate in the morning, the women in the second group eat chocolate at night, and the women in the third group were instructed not to eat chocolate at all. Each intake of chocolate is 100 grams. This research took about two weeks. In the final stage of the experiment, calorie measurements, stool samples, and questionnaires will be collected to analyse.
Eating chocolate at night can suppress their appetite and reduces calorie intake. Eating chocolate in the morning will reduce the cortisol value. The lower the cortisol value, the smaller your appetite and calories. The women in the first and second groups had fewer calories than the women in the third group who did not eat chocolate. The women in the first group experienced a reduction of 300 calories per day, while the women in the second group had a reduction of 150 calories per day.
The doctor of this study said, “If you only eat chocolate in the morning or at night, eating chocolate will help you lose weight.” He added that those who want to exercise in the morning can eat chocolate before they sleep. This can make them more energetic when they wake up in the next morning.
Anyway, it is better to eat chocolate with no or less sugar.
