In a disturbing incident, Starbucks and McDonald's outlets in Tawau, Sabah, fell victim to vandalism with spray paint. The perpetrators left behind the messages "boycott" and "Free Palestine" scrawled across the walls.
The incident came to light when the manager of the Starbucks outlet on T2 Road discovered the graffiti at 8:30 AM. yesterday. Promptly, the company's management reported the damage to the police, who received the report at 12:30 PM the same day.
Tawau Police District Chief Zhan Ping revealed that upon reviewing CCTV footage, it was determined that two suspicious individuals were responsible for the vandalism. However, the images captured were not clear.
Despite this setback, both the management of T2 Building and Starbucks took swift action to remove the graffiti.
