While we all want the two people, we love the most, our partner and our best friend, to meet and get along, sometimes it can be hard especially when your friend starts developing feelings for your partner.
It puts you in a really uncomfortable situation. You want to trust both of them but at the same time, the whole situation is just messed up and awkward.
What you need to know is that friends aren’t always loyal. They might be treating your partner nicely or they might secretly be scheming and thinking about ways they can steal your partner away from you.
Before accusing them of anything, first watch them carefully and look for the warning signs below:
1. They talk about your partner all the time
If your BFF has the hots for your partner, then they won’t be able to shut up about your partner because it is all they are thinking about. You’ll start to notice them bringing up your partner in every random conversation you have with them.
You can be talking about something random like the poor animals stuck in the zoo, and they will somehow wiggle your partner’s name into the conversation. Random or not? Definitely not.
2. They know things about your partner even you don’t
If your friend has is truly and dangerously in love with your bf then you will start to notice that your BFF seems to have a lot of knowledge and information about your partner, even more than you.
This is a sign as people who are interested in someone normally tries to find out more about them like their dreams, passion, likes and dislikes. This could probably mean that the both of them have been having conversations behind your back.
3. She always asks you to jio your partner
If you like someone, you’d want to spend more time with them. So, that’s what your BFF will start doing. When you jio her to go out, she will ask you to bring your partner too and make some excuses and ransom reasons why your partner should be there too.
4. You start feeling like the third wheel
Whenever you all are hanging out together, you start to feel more like you’re third wheeling on them when in reality your BFF is the one third wheeling! Maybe you will start noticing that they are having more deep conversation together and not involving you in the conversation.
You friend might even start trying to shut your out of the conversation and make fun of you and your opinions in front of your bf.
5. She gives you horrible advice
Just break up, is their advice most of the time. Every time you and your partner have an argument and you tell them about it, they tell you to dump your partner. Even if it is for the smallest stupidest things, like maybe they forgot to turn off the bathroom light last night, you best friend will only say one thing, OMG you have to dump them right now!
Your so-called BFF might have been trying to get you to dump your partner because they want them!
