In Segamat at about 8.30pm last night (26th Oct), three victims were pronounced dead and one injured at the scene, of a three-vehicle accident.
Involving a Ford Fiesta, a Mitsubishi Storm and a motorcycle, the head of the fire and rescue department sent a troop of 10 to the location, upon receiving information.
"As soon as we got to the scene, we found that four male victims were involved in the crash. We successfully removed two of them (aged 19 and 20) who drove the Fiesta, and were stuck in the car."
"They were unfortunately, already dead and the other (aged 64) who drove the Mitsubishi Storm, was severely injured, passing later on at the Segamat hospital", he noted.
Based on reports, the motorcycle rider (aged 22), had sustained minor injuries to his hips, and was then sent to the hospital for treatments.
The case has since been handed over the cops and the bodies to the forensics department, for further investigations. As of yet though, the cause of collision has not been deduced.
