Penang Records Its First Two Omicron Cases

Penang has now recorded its first two Omicron variant cases. According to the Chief Minister, Chow Kon Yeow in a press conference today (Dec. 27), he noted that the two individuals had just returned from overseas via KLIA.
They are now under observation at the Kepala Batas Hospital.
Upon the confirmed cases, a thorough contact tracing was conducted. So far, no other cases were reportedly found.
