Animals express sorrow just like we humans do, and it's no less heartbreaking.
According to the original uploader of this TikTok, her Oyen recently passed away due to ingesting a poisonous frog. The mourning cat in the video was his only best friend, and understandably the cat, referred to as Bulus by her owner, is deeply affected by the passing of her best friend.
In the video, Bulus can be seen hovering around Oyen's fresh grave, seemingly grieving her best friend who had crossed the rainbow bridge just a day before.

We now know that grief is universal, and can be felt across all living species. This heartwrenching scene proves that animals too, have feelings. Perhaps just as deep as ours.
