In a shocking case that unfolded in an Australian court, a Malaysian-born former nurse, 50-year-old Karen Kaur Warburton, was handed a prison sentence for orchestrating a horrific plan to mutilate her ex-boyfriend's tongue and penis.
The disturbing plot emerged following the hostile breakup between Warburton and Queensland police inspector Don McKay. Seeking revenge after their messy split, Warburton went to extreme lengths to ensure McKay would "never walk or talk again."

Warburton pleaded guilty to one count of "attempting to procure grievous bodily harm" and one count of "attempting to procure a malicious act with intent."
Queensland Police Inspector Don McKay
The court revealed that Warburton paid Andrew Bown, a local resident, approximately A$3,000 (roughly RM14,000++) between April 1st and Oct 6th, 2021, to seriously harm McKay. To facilitate the gruesome task, she provided Bown with pictures of McKay and his address.
Bown, in turn, made multiple attempts to cause harm to McKay. In one incident, a hired individual sprayed McKay's house with lighter fluid and set it on fire, resulting in A$20,000 worth of damage.
Karen enlisted Andrew Bown to carry out the assault on the police officer.
The court further disclosed that Bown's attempt to enlist someone else for the task was promptly turned down. As a consequence of her calculated and dangerous actions, Warburton is now facing a substantial prison sentence, with a significant portion suspended, specifically five years in jail, with the first 16 months suspended.
