IT'S 2018, THE YEAR OF POSSIBILITIES

WELL, DEFINITELY AS AN INSTAGRAM STAR! FOLLOWERS ARE THE MOST IMPORTANT WHEN IT COMES TO INSTAGRAM, BUT WHEN YOUR PICTURES ARE ALMOST THE SAME ALL THE TIME, YOUR FOLLOWERS TENT TO GET BORED, AND UN-FOLLOW YOU. HERE ARE SOME COOL PICTURE IDEAS TO GET THEM TO STAY! 

"CANDID"

Usually when someone who has posted a candid picture, they knew the photo was being taken when it was. BUT "candid" pictures are probably the most popular out of all these in the list!

Simple things like looking down, scrolling through your phone, reading, walking, or even eating are EASY ways to accomplsh a candid photo of yourself.

As for who takes the photo, you can ask a friend or family member.. You could even try finding a stranger to take it!

PICTURE READY

Picture ready photos can vary with different looks, backgrounds/surroundings and clothing.

It's easy to accomplish these pictures as well! A lot of people are scared they'll look bad, or look too awkward in the photo. The secret to these "picture ready" pictures, is confidence.

You shouldn't be worried about how the picture will turn out because any picture can be deleted. Take a breath, smile, and have fun! That's what life is all about.

BACKSIDE

None of these photos are easier than the "backside" photos. I mean, come on. Put a cute outfit on, and go somewhere with a great background like downtown, the beach, the woods, or even in a house or restaurant!

Besides a fabulous outfit, you could also do your hair really cute like braids, curl, straighten, or use ribbons!

BFF PHOTO SHOOT

This one should also be very simple. Hit up your best friend(s) and spend the day taking pictures together! Have strangers take your photo and if you're not satisfied, go to the next stranger! Have fun with it.

If it were me, I would call up two friends that way one of them could take the pictures and you could all switch out!

you can take these pictures anywhere. The nearest park, shopping in the mall, the sidewalk, or any public place!

THE SILHOUETTE

This one can be tricky.. If you want until sunrise or sunset, (usually sunset) you can easily take them!

To whoever is taking this picture for you, let them know to tap (on your phone screen) on the sun. If you put the focus on the sky, your silhouette will appear. Just try playing around with it, I'm sure you will figure it out.

For a pose or stance, it's completely up to you. As you can see in the photos below, you can do really anything!

(PET)OGRAPHY

Pets. I for one know how getting your pet to sit still for a picture, can seem quite impossible. But hopefully these couple of tips will help.

FOOD! Any treat or food to make them look your way helps tremendously. Just hold the treat close to the camera and snap the picture while they're looking.

Wait until your pet is calm. If you try taking a picture with a hipper dog or animal of any kind, it can be tricky and well, crazy. Wait until they are calm or sleepy and don't overwhelm them with the photo taking. Try to keep them calm the whole time.. Good luck!

FOR THE LOVE OF GLITTER

Glitter pictures have become super popular on the internet. As you can see in the pictures below, they don't require a lot of work. You can buy glitter at usually any super store, or anywhere with craft supplies.

There really aren't any rules for these photos. Just have fun & be creative!

Also, if you put glitter on your face, in your hair, or on your skin it shows up better when you use a flash on your camera/phone.

FLOWER HAIR SHOTS

I LOVE these flower hair pictures! I think they're super cute and fun.

You can put flowers in hair that is down, braided, buns, or in any style. If your hair is teased, or tangled just a little, the flowers should stay in your hair long enough to take the picture.

If flowers are not growing by where you are, take a road trip to find some wildflowers on the side of the road, or buy some from a flower shop.

THE "I JUST WOKE UP" SELFIE

We all wish we had the faces in these photos to take these selfies with. BUT I could guarantee most of the girls below didn't just wake up.

Tip no. 1 for the "I just woke up" look, would be to put on a very light face of makeup. Fix your eyebrows, a light pink or peach lip gloss, and a VERY LIGHT spread of mascara. Try not to cover your natural beauty like your freckles, or moles. (In my opinion, they make you even more beautiful than foundation does)

Tip no. 2 would be to flip your head upside down a few times to shake out your hair. You can tease it or volumize it somehow to get the bedhead effect.

BF/GF PHOTOS

Couple photos are a little awkward to ask people to take of you, especially if you're about to make out in front of them, lol. Close friends shouldn't care to take the holding hands, hugging, or simple cute poses.

If you're too shy to ask someone to take these pictures of you and your significant other, it's simple: self timer! If you have a camera or phone you can always go to your camera settings to put a countdown on it.

Putting the camera on a small table or shelf is an easy tip to follow when you're taking self timer photos. You can also set the camera tilted, sideways, or in a different way to get a better angle.

THE "YOU CANT SEE ME" PHOTOS

Oh my goodness you guys, I cannot tell you how freaking easy it is to take these pictures. All you have to do is stick something in front of your face.

Of course, you can make these pictures super cool by wearing a cute outfit you want to show off, or wearing a cute hairstyle. But heck, you don't even have to wear makeup. What's better than that?
