Now the whole world has its attention on the COVID-19 outbreak that basically affected the entire world. As made public that the origin of COVID-19 came from the consumption of exotic animals, which in this case, bats. And the COVID-19, previously known as the Wuhan virus started in a wildlife market in China.

According to Harian Metro, after 3 months of the spread of COVID-19 in China, the 2 main meat markets in Guilin and Dongguan resumed business selling all sorts of animals, including bats, scorpions and various exotic animals used in traditional medicine.

The Daily Star reported that the shocking discovery of the wild and exotic animals associated with the cause of the outbreak was widely sold in the city.

Daily Mail reported that the shocking scenes of different species of animals being caged in Guilin resurfaced as China lifted the lockdown order and has encouraged people to return to their usual daily routine to boost the economy.

"Everyone here believes the outbreak is over and there's nothing to worry about anymore. It's just a foreign problem now as far as they are concerned," said one of the China-based correspondents who captured these images.

Another correspondent who visited the Dongguan market mentioned that the market resumed business as if nothing had happened before and that the only difference is that the security guard would stop people from taking photos.

Let's hope that people can finally learn their lessons and that this will not be the beginning of another pandemic.
