Police of Selangor state advised Malaysians who are traveling out to do grocery shopping to bring along your water and electricity bill. This is to allow the police to verify your house address and to make sure that you are not traveling more than 10 km away from your housing area, according to Sin Chew Daily.
In order to ensure that all Malaysians obey the Movement Control Order (MCO), every police district in Selangor will set up 3 to 5 roadblocks, meanwhile, there will also be some road closures in certain areas.
Assistant director of Selangor Integrity and Standards Compliance Department (JIPS) mentioned today (April 3) that, police will ask for your water and electricity bill at the roadblocks. Once found that you are more than 10 km away from your housing area, action will be taken, unless you have a valid reason.
He added that any Malaysian who wishes to cross the state to receive medical treatment or due to emergency matter could go to the nearest police to apply for permission.
