Apple enthusiasts in Malaysia can now plan their purchases with official pricing details for the latest iMac models. The base configurations come in three options:
- 8-core GPU, 8GB unified memory, and 256GB storage - RM6,299
- 10-core GPU, 8GB unified memory, and 256GB storage - RM7,299
- 10-core GPU, 8GB unified memory, and 512GB storage - RM8,099
The standout feature of these new iMacs is the Apple M3 chip, which allows users to upgrade their devices to a maximum of 24GB of unified memory. The M1 chip, in contrast, supported up to 16GB. The memory upgrades are priced as follows:
- 8GB to 16GB of Unified Memory: RM800
- 16GB to 24GB of Unified Memory: RM800
When it comes to storage, users have several options:
- Upgrading from 256GB to 512GB SSD: RM800
- Doubling the storage to 1TB SSD: RM800
- Opting for a substantial 2TB SSD: RM1,600
