A Malaysian woman recently took to social media to share her harrowing experience, revealing that her domestic helper of a year and a half had been stealing various foreign currencies and even a precious diamond ring from her household.
According to the post, the stolen items included $44 USD, 210 RMB, 2,460 THB, and RM1,733, amounting to a staggering total of approximately RM2,406.40. To add to the astonishment, the homeowner stumbled upon her long-lost diamond ring hidden in the helper's room, cunningly wrapped in her underwear.
The homeowner expressed her disbelief and lamented the betrayal of trust, likening the situation to a ticking time bomb. While domestic helpers can provide valuable assistance, the incident serves as a stark reminder of the need for caution and vigilance.
