Clay masks are face masks that are made with different types of clay. The difference between the types of clay masks is actually their mineral composition. All clays contain many minerals, some even contain more than 50 minerals!
Different skin types require different composition of different minerals. So, when choosing a clay mask, you need to first identify your skin type and then find out which clay contains the right amount of mineral most suited for it.
IMPORTANT TIP: Never to use metal containers, spoons, or lids when storing or using clay. Use Glass or wooden spoons and bowls.

Bentonite Clay
- absorbs dirt and oil, like sebum which can cause acne
- draws out impurities and tightens skin

French Green Clay
- composed of volcanic ash and sea clay
- detoxes and heals skin
+ Pigmentation
Fuller’s Earth Clay
- mostly composed of aluminum magnesium silicate
- draws out excess sebum and decolorizing (lightening) oil out of pores
+ Aging Skin
Rhassoul Clay
- rich in potassium, magnesium, calcium, and sodium
- hydrates and revitalizes skin
