While we love Malaysian food, we can’t help but also love fast food. There’s nothing better then biting into a delicious and crispy burger from McDonald’s while munching on some fries at the same time.
The best part is when McDonald’s decides to transform their menu by add some of our favourite flavours. Honestly, we are wiling to buy it no matter how much more the price it.
Well, our neighbours in Singapore also seems to be doing a good job of adding some unique flavours to their menu. But which one is better? You decide, VOTE NOW!
1. Buttermilk Crispy Chicken VS Spicy Chicken McDeluxe
Buttermilk Crispy Chicken was sold in Singapore. It is a crispy whole-muscle chicken thigh flavoured with buttermilk packed in a glazed burger bun served with creamy Colby cheese, romaine lettuce, black pepper mayo; and topped with grilled pineapple rings and crisp purple cabbage.
The spicy chicken McDeluxe is a Malaysian favourite with its specially marinated whole chicken thigh meat with a delightfully crispy coat, layered with fresh lettuce and special sauce in a corn meal bun.
2. Hokkaido Salmon Burger Meal VS Sweet Chilli Fish Burger
The Hokkaido Salmon Burger is another unique item on Singapore’s Mcdonald burger. It has a Hokkaido salmon patty, crusted in crispy panko, accompanied with shredded white cabbage and a roasted sesame mayo, finished with black-and-white sesame speckled soft buns.
Malaysians went crazy for this crispy fish fillet topped with sweet & spicy sauce called the Sweet Chilli Fish Burger. It is the perfect balance of spicy and sweet.
3. Seoul Spicy Burger VS Spicy Korean Burger
The Seoul Spicy Burger brought the flavours of Seoul to Singapore with its choice of a grilled 100% beef patty or a tender and juicy chicken patty, each glazed with this mouth-watering spicy Korean sauce with ingredients such as fermented soybean paste, sesame paste, soy sauce, chilli peppers, red paprika and garlic.
Malaysia’s Spicy Korean Burger is a tempting combo of kimchi-seasoned juicy grilled beef and crispy chicken patties coated in a spicy Korean sauce, melty cheese, and fresh mixed vegetables, all in a black charcoal bun.
4. Rendang Sedap Angus Beef Burger Meal VS Nasi Lemak McD
Singapore really brought it with this Rendang Sedap Angus Beef Burger. It is made with a 100% Angus beef patty that has been dipped in a rendang sauce. The rich sauce is made from a blend of coconut milk, ginger, kaffir lime, lemongrass, onion, garlic and spices.
Nasi Lemak Mcd has never failed to bring a smile to us Malaysian. But can its fragrant coconut rice, crispy anchovies, fresh cucumber and fried egg, topped with spicy sambal compete with Singapore’s Angues beef? You decide!
5. Ha Ha Cheong Gai Burger VS Spicy Chicken with Apple Slices
The Ha Ha Cheong Gai Burger is a burger with a pungent prawn paste-marinated chicken thigh patty coated with panko crumbs and prawn paste-infused mayonnaise.
Spicy Chicken with Apple Slices made some Malaysians drool and some cringe. It is a crunchy and spicy chicken patty paired with real apple slices, black pepper mayo sauce and lettuce on a warm bun.
