On May 25, the Dutch Prime Minister's Office said that Prime Minister Mark Rutte abide by the coronavirus restrictions against visiting care homes and he did not go to the nursing home for a few weeks to see her mother for the last time. Rutte said that her mother died on May 13, and the local media claimed that she did not die of COVID-19.
Rutte said that his 96-year-old mother Mieke Rutte-Dilling died of illness in a nursing home in The Hague this month. He expressed sadness and nostalgia, saying that the family had given her farewell, hoping to calm the pain in the near future.

On the other hand, New Zealand prime minister, Jacinda Ardern, and her partner, Clarke Gayford turned away from a cafe in Wellington which was full due to coronavirus distancing measures. The restaurant manager made no exceptions for Ardern and Gayford. Moreover, Ardern also stated she has no difference from the other people.

Besides, Jacinda Ardern also showed her professionalism as she continued her live television interview even there was a moderate 5.6-magnitude earthquake that happened in New Zealand’s North Island on May 25. According to both St John Ambulance and New Zealand Police, there were no injuries or damage.
