Korea's famous food company Nong Shim has announced the release of the famous menu from the movie Parasite 【Chapaguri】.
So what's exactly Chapaguri?
Chapaguri (or ram-don) is combining the two popular instant noodles - Chapagetti (Instant version of jjajangmyeon or black bean noodles) & Neoguri (Spicy seafood flavored instant udon soup).
This menu also went viral as it is the signature dish from the Oscar-winning film "Parasite". In the movie, the menu gets upgraded with the expensive beef cube.
The new Chapaguri comes in an instant bowl instead of in a bag, where consumers can feel fun when mixing the Chapagetti & Raccoon in their own way.- An official statement from Nongshim.
According to the official statement, there will be two versions of the Instant Jjapaguri: "Angry Chapaguri "& " Original Chapaguri ".
While the Angry Chapaguri is the combination of plump raccoon noodles and spicy seafood sauce that gives you extra spiciness!
The large bowl of the Angry Chagapuri also features the seasoned vegetables (including carrot, onion, kelp, etc), spicy hot sauce, instant powder, and chewy instant noodle. The iconic Raccoon is included as well in order to add the rich flavor of the broth.
How to cook it?
1. Pour 220ML of boiling water into the bowl.
2. Mix the included seasoning pack and microwave for 3 minutes.
3. Enjoy the noodle!
The instant bowl version of Chapaguri has been released in Korea, stay tuned for the official date for the global release.
However, according to the Nongshim HK IG account, it has been stated that the new dish will be available soon in June. Let's look forward to it!
