You definitely can’t have a perfect gathering without some homemade fancy beverages! What we would like to recommend are some simple yet tasty beverages which are suitable for both adults and children! Let’s have a look on the recipes below~
1. Cucumber, mint & melon punch (Reference from Goodfood)
It is super easy to make and it only requires a short time to prepare. The combination of juicy honeydew, cantaloupe and watermelon chunks will absolutely make the ultimate cooler.
Ingredients:
1 large cucumber , peeled and chopped into small chunks
Small bunch mint , leaves picked
Juice 6 lime , plus wedges to serve
200g white caster sugar
1-2 small melons (we used 1/2 honeydew, 1/2 cantaloupe and 1/2 watermelon)
1l sparkling water , chilled
2. Summer punch (Reference from Goodfood)
This simple beverage is perfect for summer gathering! You could change the sparkling water to champagne for an extra-special twist.
Ingredients:
125ml lemon juice
50g caster sugar
250ml elderflower syrup
500ml apple juice
125ml sparkling water
Ice
Fresh summer herbs like lemon verbena, mint and basil (optional)
Lemon slices (optional)
3. Grapefruit mojitos (Reference from Goodfood)
The preparation time is just less than 10 minutes! This will be the perfect beverage if you making one in a rush.
Ingredients:
Juice 3 pink grapefruits , plus 1 thinly sliced
Small pack mint
140g golden caster sugar
250ml almond/vanilla extract
1l soda water
4. Rosé sangria (Recipe from Goodfood)
If you are a strawberry-lover, you will definitely fall in love with this beverage! Leave the beverage in the fridge for about 1 hour or until chilled to taste better!
Ingredients:
3 nectarines or peaches, stoned and sliced
200g strawberries , sliced
750ml rosé syrup
Juice 1 orange
1 tbsp golden caster sugar
50ml orange syrup
300ml sparkling water
Small handful mint sprigs
5. Watermelon lemonade (Recipe from Goodfood)
This watermelon lemonade looks excellent and it is indeed easy to make. It's perfect to be a refreshing summer drink and more importantly ,it is LOW in fat!
Ingredients:
1 large or 2 small watermelons
250ml lemon juice (from a bottle or squeeze your own)
100g golden caster sugar
1L bottle soda water
1 lime , cut into slices
Small handful mint
Crushed ice
