A case involving an elementary school teacher in Balik Pulau, who is accused of exposing his genitals in the classroom, is currently under police investigation. The Deputy Education Minister, Lim Hui Ying, addressed the issue, stating that while they are aware of the incident, no further details can be provided at this time due to the ongoing investigation.

Hui Ying emphasized that the case has been reported to the police, and they will allow law enforcement to carry out their investigation. If the allegations are substantiated, it will be treated as a case of sexual harassment.

Speaking at the Ketipang Payung Pavilion Ceremony held at Tan Sri P Ramlee National School, Hui Ying reiterated the ministry's commitment to taking firm action in such cases, regardless of whether the individuals involved are teachers or students.

The incident came to light when a woman reported that her 10-year-old child had informed her about the alleged incident, which occurred on November 2nd. The concerned mother promptly filed a police report, leading to the launch of the investigation.
