A woman in Kelantan has been apprehended by authorities following accusations of stabbing a man with a vegetable cutter knife in Kuala Krai. The incident involves a 28-year-old suspect who purportedly inflicted three stab wounds to the victim's abdomen.
Kelantan Police Chief, Datuk Muhamad Zaki Harun, revealed that the harrowing incident came to light around 6:30 PM last Monday when authorities were alerted to the discovery of a body near a public restroom at Dataran Lemang Manek Urai, Kuala Krai.
"Initial investigations into the 45-year-old victim unveiled stab wounds in the abdomen, although no traces of blood were evident at the scene where the man was found," he stated.
Further police inquiries have divulged that the distressing episode transpired on March 28th. According to reports, the man was allegedly stabbed by the woman who was coerced into engaging in sexual activity with him.
It was reported that the woman was taken away by the man on March 28th from Terengganu. She, purportedly, had transported the suspect from Sungai Tong, Setiu, Terengganu, to various locations within the Kuala Krai district.

The victim's body was taken to Hospital Sultan Ismail Petra for a thorough post-mortem examination. Harun stated that the cause of death was severe abdominal wounds from the stabbing, which penetrated both the abdomen and intestines. Unfortunately, the victim's condition worsened due to delayed medical attention, resulting in serious complications from bacterial infection.
"The victim's history includes multiple past infractions related to criminal activities and narcotics," Harun disclosed. "Consequently, the case is being diligently investigated under Section 302 of the Penal Code."
